Celebrating the Struggle of Homelessness
When September Ends
When September Ends is Jubilee’s annual community gathering, a space to come together, reflect, and reconnect around the shared work of addressing homelessness in our community. What began as a simple event has grown into something deeper. It is a place where stories are shared, relationships are built, and people are invited to engage in meaningful ways.
This event centers lived experience, creating space for individuals to share their stories, talents, and perspectives through art, performance, conversation, and community presence. It is designed to be welcoming, accessible, and inclusive, bringing together people from all walks of life in an environment grounded in dignity and respect.
At its heart, When September Ends is both a celebration and a call to action. It reflects the relationships and work built throughout the year, while inviting others to step in, learn more, and become part of a community committed to doing things differently.
