About the event
Jubilee’s Annual Community Event
When September Ends is Jubilee’s signature annual event — a time for our community to gather, reflect, and reimagine what’s possible for people experiencing poverty and homelessness in L-Town and beyond. Since its beginning in 2017, this event has grown into more than just an evening of connection; it’s a space where stories are shared, relationships are built, and real change takes root.
Each year, When September Ends brings together community members, advocates, service providers, volunteers, and people with lived experience for a night of meaningful conversation, music, food, and hope. You’ll hear firsthand stories from people who’ve faced poverty and housing insecurity, and you’ll learn how you can be part of building a more equitable and supportive community — one relationship at a time.
This year, we’re excited to return to a full-length program with the support of volunteers and friends who make this work possible. Expect heartfelt testimonies, updates on Jubilee’s mission, opportunities to connect with like-minded neighbors, and an open invitation to join us in this movement for change.
Whether you’re new to Jubilee or have been walking alongside us for years, When September Ends is a chance to pause, gather, and renew your commitment to creating a community where no one faces poverty or homelessness alone.
